Digital Downloads
Purchasing a digital download is simple, decide on the information you want click the buy it button. You will then be taken to Paypal site to complete payment. Once complete you will receive am email from our system with a link to our on server download. click on the link in the email and your zipped pdf file will download.
If however you do have a problem please email us and we will manually arrange a download link for you.
There are several advantages to this system the main one being that the file size is not limited to fit your email inbox, most ISPs only allow a small amount of space for incoming mail, Once this space is full the system will not be able to deal with any more mail. If you are only allocated a few megabytes for your inbox a single file can block your e mail system, the only way to clear this is to log onto your mail box at the ISP site and clear the box manually. Because we only send you a link to the files location on our server our actual e-mail is very small.
Because we are not limited by this our documents can be scanned at a higher resolution and in grayscale & colour not just binary (black and white) so pictures and diagrams are much better quality.
Another advantage to using this system, is that some companies, such as AOL have systems in place to stop unwanted spam and viruses entering the system, although these programs are very good they are not 100%, they will often block file attachments. With our system this is not a problem either.
Upon Receiving you email follow the link and save the file to your hard drive then unzip the files.
It is important that you have a copy on your hard drive because the server link in the e mail will only allow a limited number of downloads.
Most of our downloaded files will need to be unzipped using an unzipping program such as winzip available free of charge from www.winzip.com
The pdf files will need Adobe Acrobat 7 or higher a
free reader can be downloaded from
www.adobe.com
